[email protected] Having completed the MEng in Biochemical Engineering at UCL and in spite of my lab experience consisting mainly of microbial systems and fermentation, I joined the regenerative medicine group as that has always been where my interest lies academically. In asking for something that was a mixture of both cell based work and downstream processing (as part of my interests rely on integration of upstream and downstream) I was presented with the exosome project, a project which for me is equal parts challenging and fascinating. Project: To develop a process for the high-purity recovery of exosome material from a regenerative cell product.
Within this project we aim to assess current purification methods and to develop a novel, scale-able process for the purification of exosomes for a regenerative therapy whilst retaining optimal efficacy/potency Previously:
